FARGO – Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Village Family Service Center is delighted to announce the receipt of a generous grant from the Robert E. Herman Charitable Trust. The support will empower our dedicated staff to deliver crucial services directly to at-risk youth, as well as enhance our efforts in recruiting adult volunteers who play a pivotal role as mentors.
The grant funds will be strategically allocated to various tasks, including the enrollment of both youth and mentors, volunteer recruitment initiatives, thorough background checks, comprehensive mentor training, ongoing support for established matches, and the closure of successful mentorship pairings.
