Stephanie Virnig
My drive to work as a therapist comes from the joy and honor that comes from learning another person’s story and being able to help them write the next chapter. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Studies Education with an emphasis in Economics at St. Cloud State University and my Master of Arts in Adlerian Psychotherapy and Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Adler Graduate School. I think that sustainable and consistent change can come from examining where we have been and where we would like to go.
I enjoy working with clients from a systems or family-oriented viewpoint while also looking at how to adjust unhelpful thought patterns to achieve long- and short-term goals. I work primarily with children, adolescents, teens, and their families navigating such issues as anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjusting to transitions, trauma, communication, body image issues, low self-esteem, and more.
